We are very proud of Reilly’s success in the show ring this year! He earned his AKC championship in June during 3 days of shows: a terrier specialty and 2 all-breed shows at the Great Western weekend in Long Beach. Reilly was Best of Winners on two of the days, earning 3 point majors each day, and he earned 5 points when he went Best of Breed from the classes on the Irish Terrier Club of So. Calif. specialty day. In October he traveled to the big shows in Pennsylvania for Montgomery week and did quite well competing with approx. 48 Irish, many from other countries. He earned his AKC grand championship by earning 5 point majors on 3 of the 4 days of competitions: Best Opposite Sex at Morris and Essex, Select Dog at Hatboro and Select Dog at Montgomery (including an invitation to the Crufts dog show in England next year)!
